How to defeat the Fury of Set

Due to EX skill damage reduction, it is not recommended to use students who has main damage source is EX Skill. Instead, you should use students that have high damage from their auto attack and Normal skill, and students whose EX skill is buffing stats or not directly deal damage instead.

It is a must to not spam your DPS students' EX skills too much, as this will result in DPS loss. Instead, you should keep an eye on the buffs to ensure that they won't run out of duration. And since Set deals multi-targets damage, a tank is unecessary in most scenario, but don't because of that, as some of them has at least team support ability. From floor 50 on, it is a must to bring students with Elastic or Special armor type as the boss now deal Explosive damage type.

Hawk-Piercing Flash will always happen periodically, there's no way to prevent it from striking. There're 2 obelisks on the map, the lightning strikes will hit the left one first, and then the right one if they both does not in Overcharged state and have the same health. After both obelisks is overcharged, students with highest health will be struck.

This attack will decrease student's damage by 70% for 40 seconds, it is recommended to put all your main DPS students on a side, and healing to the opposite side obelisks, remember to fully heal the obelisk to remove the overcharged effect. When dealing enough damage, a blue lightning orb will appear, allowing students' damage increased by 30% for 30s. This mechanic can be pretended to be non-exist due to serving no purposes than an indicator that the buff is on. While it rises overall damage per seconds, it only appear after enough damage is done and cannot be used for player's advantage in some ways.

On the other hand, the red orb only appears from floor 24 above, which will be summoned when "Arrow Through a Moment" casts. Timing when the orb's range covers all students is important, since it can increases overall output damage and it cannot resist EX skills' damage unlike Set.

Set's ATG gauge will increase throughout the match, due to its massive damage required for groggy gauge, preventing it from using skills is impossible.

Set's damage dealt will be depended on the ATG gauge, this is the main reason why at mid round, noticeably when Set's ATG gauge is between 2-3 gauges, any Set's attacks may absolutely murder students at recommended level if there's no healing support.

When Set's ATG gauge is full, it will throw a electro spear to your team, absolutely wiping any student at high floors, even with other armor types that counter Explosive damage; therefore, healing, especially DoT healing, is essential.

After then, it's groggy gauge will be fulfilled, causing it to stun and all player's students' damage will ignore stability and deal true damage with gain higher cost recovery. This is the player's last chance to dump as much damage as possible to Set, as after it recovered will the battle near the end.
